IGE applies the internationally recognised ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) sampling system for product inspections. This ensures statistically valid inspection results from practical sample sizes.
The standard inspection level is General Inspection Level II with an AQL of 2.5 for major defects and 4.0 for minor defects. Critical defect acceptance number is always zero.
